Some of the appreciable benefits are mentioned below:

Cooler Air:
The Turbo vents offered by us are widely used to replace hot air with the cooler air from outside through an evaporative cooling system, which helps in increasing the life of various structural and perishables materials and improving the comfort levels for the people within the building.

Less pollution:
The steady flow of air induced by the turbo vents flushes airborne contaminants, micro-organisms, toxic fumes and odorous gases from the building and replenishes oxygen levels in the air. This translates into safer, healthier working and living conditions for the occupants of the building.

Reduced humidity:
Enclosed structures often suffer from excessive moisture in the contained air. This is particularly prevalent in wintertime. Excessive moisture can cause iron and steel to rust; paintwork to peel; concrete to crumble; insulation to become ineffective and micro-organisms to breed. Ventilation induced by turbo vents is usually effective in reducing destructive moisture.

Heat removed from ceiling voids:
The air trapped in ceiling voids between the hot roof and the ceiling accumulates heat, rising to temperatures of up to 70 C. Some of this intense heat is transferred into the interior of the building, causing the occupants discomfort. When ventilating the ceiling void with turbo vents, the air does not accumulate significant heat and the interior of the building stays cooler.

Less structural maintenance:
Structural materials including paint, concrete, wood, iron and steelwork, electrical insulation and fibre glass insulation are sensitive to heat and moisture. Improved ventilation using turbo vents retards deterioration of structural materials in buildings, thereby reducing expenditure on maintenance.

Longer shelf life:
Cooler, less polluted air increases the shelf life of perishables such as foodstuffs, plants, electronic equipment, and rubber and steel products.

What is a Wind Turbo Vent?
A turbo vent comprises of a hollow dome with vertical vanes spaced around its circumference. The dome is secured to a supporting spindle via a system of ball bearings that allows the dome to rotate freely about the spindle. The spindle, in turn, is secured to a neck designed to facilitate attachment to the roof of the building.
